دوقلوها دیپر و میبل پاینز برای گذراندن تابستان پیش استن عمو‌بابا‌ی عجیبشان به شهر مرموز گراویتی فالز در ایالت اورِگن فرستاده می‌شوند. استن از آن‌ها می‌خواهد که در ادارهٔ شکاف اسرار، جاذبهٔ توریستی مشکوکی که صاحبش است، کمکش کنند. دوقلوها سعی می‌کنند با محیط عجیب شهر کنار بیایند، اما خیلی زود حس می‌کنند چیزی غیرعادی در گراویتی فالز جریان دارد. وقتی دیپر یک دفترچهٔ رمزآلود پیدا می‌کند که سرنخ‌هایی از اسرار شهر در خود دارد، او و میبل با اشتیاق و شجاعتشان وارد ماجراجویی‌هایی می‌شوند تا از دل این معماها سر دربیاورند و با نیروهای شوم در کمین، مقابله کنند.

              من تازه تماشای این انیمیشن شاهکار رو تموم کردم و باید بگم از اون دسته انیمیشن هاست که هر قسمتش رو با اشتیاق و علاقه دنبال می کنید و از اینکه به قسمت های آخرش نزدیک میشید حس عجیبی بهتون دست میده اگر این انیمیشن رو تا حالا ندیدین بهتون پیشنهاد می کنم حتما ببینین
