Sex & Nudity شدت: کم There are many sexual conversations between the two leads in lots of scenes.

Sex & Nudity شدت: کم It is implied that a man may have had sex with a woman in a bookstore. This is not shown but it is very clear what is happening.

Sex & Nudity شدت: کم This movie is remembered for shattering sexual innuendo boundaries. There are countless sexual references, including one racy conversation between the two leads that likens horse racing to sexual intercourse.

Sex & Nudity شدت: کم One major plot point revolves around finding stolen pictures of Carmen Sternwood that are presumably pornographic. However, due to censoring, nothing is mentioned outright.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man is shot to death in his home. The shots are heard from outside and the body is shown. After the body is removed we see a lot of blood splattered on the ground.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man is shot violently in the chest twice while answering the door. Another man pursues the shooter through the streets.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man hiding behind a car shoots another man three times in the chest after the other man hold a woman at gun point.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم Several people are punched or kicked in the face or stomach. In one scene a man is beaten up by two men in an alley way. He is punched several times in the stomach, face and back.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man exiting a house is accidentally shot to death by a machine gun. The shot is from behind a door and we see bullets hitting the door. He is shown on the ground dead after.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A person is poisoned and killed by a man offering him a drink. This scene is intense.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A woman is slapped across the face twice by a man.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking شدت: کم A lot of people are smoking not just Humphry Bogart.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking شدت: کم Some social drinking. Bacall and Bogart are never seen without their cigarettes, which are prevelant in almost every frame. The opening and closing credits of the film are accompanied by silhouettes of Bogart and Bacall lighting each other's cigarettes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes شدت: کم The villains are evil and intimidating.
