Hutch was originally going to take his family to Venice, but Bob Odenkirk felt that this didn't feel right for his overworked, working-class character. Instead, Wild Bill's Majestic Midway and Waterpark in fictional Plummerville, WI was based on Odenkirk's childhood memories of going to the Wisconsin Dells twice, a place "filled with these little vacation towns for people who can't afford to go to Hawaii or Disneyland or somewhere like that." The Wild Bill character in the movie is directly inspired by Tommy Bartlett, a Wisconsin showman whose water-ski show was a popular tourist attraction at the Dells from 1952 to 2020. Filming was done in and around a resort in Winnipeg, Canada, though.
Daniel Bernhardt, who plays Lendina's henchman Kartoush, was Bob Odenkirk's trainer on the film, and has also been in many other 87North and 87Eleven Productions movies, including John Wick (2014), Atomic Blonde (2017) and Ballerina (2025). As a running joke, his character keeps dying and returning as different characters in the companies' subsequent movies. He also played one of the bus goons who gets violently beaten up by Hutch in the previous Nobody (2021).
Sharon Stone's participation in the movie came about when she met Bob Odenkirk at an awards show, and he passed her a note to ask if she'd be interested in playing "a James Bond-type baddie".
Bob Odenkirk, who plays Hutch Mansell, underwent an extremely rigorous and extensive physical training regimen for months for the first film, learning martial arts and combat skills to perform most of his own stunts. For this movie he is reportedly continuing this high-intensity training, demonstrating Odenkirk's commitment to maintaining the authenticity and brutality of the fight sequences, far beyond what might be expected from an actor primarily known for dramatic and comedic roles.
Ilya Naishuller couldn't return as director due to scheduling conflicts, as he was already committed to directing Heads of State (2025). Kirill Sokolov was hired to direct the film in his place, but had to leave the project also due to scheduling conflicts. Eventually, Timo Tjahjanto was hired as director, just eight weeks before production began.

ناهماهنگی After Wyatt and Lendina finish their phone call, Wyatt is seen holding the phone upside down in his hand, even though it was correctly oriented in the previous shot.
ناهماهنگی When Hutch Mansell is fighting off a group of henchmen to rescue Wyatt's son, Lucius, he is pushed against the open door of the van that Lucius is in with his back facing the inside of the van. At 52:40, a hidden cut occurs when Lucius crosses in front of Hutch from left to right. After this cut, Hutch is turned around and suddenly facing the inside of the van.
ناهماهنگی When Lendina is blown into the pool by the final explosion, her sunglasses are intact after taking the dart in the eye.
دیده‌شدن عوامل یا تجهیزات Around 9:41 minutes, towards the end of the lift scene, for a brief moment a black camera cover or shade is visible on the right side of the screen, next to the nerds head.
اشتباه واقعیت In the final scene when the FBI agent gets a call (presumably from his boss), when the call ends a dial tone can be heard. The subtitle confirms "Dial tone drones". Cell phones do not have dial tones.
