Sex & Nudity شدت: ندارد Some passionate kissing.

Sex & Nudity شدت: ندارد After ogling at a woman, a man quickly says he has to go home and see what his wife is doing. Another man innocently claims he is a family man.

Sex & Nudity شدت: ندارد A woman jokes to her mother that a suitor is "making violent love to me." However, at the time this movie was made, that simply meant cuddling and flirting.

Sex & Nudity شدت: ندارد A woman loses her dressing robe (she is wearing nothing else) while walking home, leaving her naked. She hides inside a bush and we barely see anything (only her face peeking out), but the man she is with hesitates to return the robe and jokes about selling tickets to see her naked.

Sex & Nudity شدت: ندارد Some men approvingly ogle a pretty woman as she walks down the street.

Sex & Nudity شدت: ندارد The Violet Bicknell character flirts frequently with George Bailey.

Sex & Nudity شدت: ندارد In the Pottersville, there are signs for nightclubs and burlesque theaters.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man shouts at his children and begins smashing up his house in front of them. The children are seen to be clearly distressed.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man repeatedly beats a child until his ears bleed. The scene is very disturbing, abusive and the child actor was actually beaten.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man is about to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A police officer fires a gun at an unarmed fleeing man, but the shots miss and the man escapes.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man punches another man.

Violence & Gore شدت: کم A man's mouth bleeds (no blood shown).

Profanity شدت: ندارد "Garlic eaters" is used once as a racial slur against an Italian family.

Profanity شدت: ندارد 1 subtle G-ddamnit covered with sound effects.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking شدت: کم Several characters smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking شدت: کم Scenes of raucous drinking at a bar.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking شدت: کم George Bailey (<a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0000071/?ref_=ttpg_gi">James Stewart</a>) gets drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes شدت: کم A man jumps into a river to save another man from drowning.

Frightening & Intense Scenes شدت: کم A man says horrible things to his family in a rude and mad tone, such as asking his wife why they had to have kids.

Frightening & Intense Scenes شدت: کم A man tries to kill himself after he sees that his son died. George tries to stop him, but he is hit and his ear bleeds. This scene is quite emotional and upsetting.

Frightening & Intense Scenes شدت: کم The ending can be very bittersweet for viewers.

Frightening & Intense Scenes شدت: کم It's probably best suited for ages 12+ due to the mature subject matter. Common sense media says 9+ but that's a bit to young.
